Meet Dr. Michael Schmidt,
A fellowship trained Vascular and Interventional Radiologist dedicated to excellent patient outcomes and a patient-centered approach. With over 18 years of training and experience, Dr. Schmidt has established himself as a highly skilled, respected and knowledgeable expert in his field. He prides himself on collaborating with patients to help them achieve their preferred goals and developing a customized, comprehensive care plan.
He has previously served the community as Chief Radiologist and Department Head, as well as Head of Interventional Radiology.

He completed his fellowship training at McGill, residency training at McMaster, medical school at University College Dublin and Bachelor of Science degree at Queen’s. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Schmidt has spent considerable time providing medical services to underserved communities in Northern Ontario, and regularly donates his time and resources to support causes he is passionate about.
In his personal time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys hiking in The Blue Mountains, running in the Loree Forest and Georgian Trails, boating, camping, and swimming in Georgian Bay, skiing at Georgian Peaks and Blue Mountain, and spending time with his friends and family.
